All manuscripts submitted to this journal (Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Pangan) must follow Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must fulfil scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope of this journal.
All manuscrips submitted to this journal must be written in both good Indonesian or English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their paper checked before submission for grammar and clarity. All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking (Turnitin, etc). Editors will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal by using a Turnitin and Google Scholar.
All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by appointed Editor on prequalification process to decide the suitability with JSTP criteria. Manuscripts could be rejected, returned to authors to be corrected, or reviewed by two or three assigned reviewers. All review processes are conducted in double-blind review. Authors must revise the manuscripts as suggested by reviewers and editorial board. The revised manuscript will be reviewed by Editor assigned by Chief Editor. The editorial board will judge the final evaluation on the suitability of manuscript for publication.
