Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Peternakan Tropis

JITRO (Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Peternakan Tropis) is a scientific journal that in general covers the topics of tropical animal science. JITRO is published and managed by the Faculty of Animal Science, Halu Oleo University in collaboration with the Indonesian Animal Scientist Association (Link: MoU). JITRO is a peer-review journal published three times a year (January, May, and September).

JITRO has been ranked SINTA 2 ACCREDITATION by Decree of Minister of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency No. 200/M/KPT/2018, on 23 December 2020. 

JITRO is indexed by Dimensions, Google Scholar, Garuda, Science, and Technology Index (SINTA), BASE, DRJI, and other scientific databases. JITRO uses a plagiarism checker to avoid manuscript plagiarism. 

JITRO publishes research and review articles on the topics of animal breeding and genetics, animal reproduction science, animal anatomy and physiology, animal nutrition and feed technology, forages, animal production, animal biotechnology, animal behaviors, animal health, animal farming systems, animal social-economic industries, livestock and agriculture policy, and animal product technology. 

BEFORE SUBMISSION

The author has to make sure that the manuscript has been prepared using JITRO's template following the author guidelines and not a single author. The single author's paper is just for the invited author or the author who has a great reputation for research or publication in animal science. The manuscript should also have been carefully proofread and a similarity check (similarity check result must be attached as a supplementary file in the submission process). Any manuscript which does not meet the author guidelines, focus, and scope, written in a different format, or has poor soundness of English, will be immediately rejected. The only manuscript which meets the JITRO standard will be processed further.

Dear Researchers and Academics, “Starting from Volume 9 No. 2, May 2022, JITRO is published in English, all manuscripts submitted since September 2021 should be written in a clear English language”.
