Kebijakan Ekonomi Mengatasi Resesi Akibat Pandemi Covid-19: Pengalaman Singapura

Abstract


Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kebijakan ekonomi Singapura dalam mengatasi resesi tahun 2020 yang disebabkan oleh pandemi Covid-19. Sebagai negara yang bergantung terhadap perekonomian global, terhambatnya kegiatan ekonomi karena pandemi memberikan dampak ekonomi yang sistematis bagi Singapura. Adapun teori yang digunakan untuk mengerangkai kebijakan Singapura adalah teori ekonomi makro. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif-kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi berbasis pada internet. Penelitian ini berargumen bahwa pemerintah Singapura tidak hanya sigap dalam menangani Covid-19, tetapi juga dalam mengeluarkan kebijakan ekonomi untuk mengatasi resesi. Ada dua kebijakan ekonomi Singapura menghadapi resesi, yaitu kebijakan moneter dan kebijakan fiskal. Pemerintah meluncurkan empat paket stimulus kebijakan fiskal dan juga kebijakan moneter dalam hal pemberian kredit, pengawasan likuiditas, dan pinjaman bagi bank konvensional.
