Analisis Daya Saing Usahatani Kelapa di Kabupaten Konawe Utara

Abstract


The study aims to analyze the competitiveness of coconut farming in Konawe Utara Regency. The study was conducted in North Konawe District in December 2019. The population of the study was 62 coconut farmers in Konawe Utara Regency. The technique of determining the sample using the census method is to take the entire population as a research sample. The types and sources of research data are primary data and secondary data. Research data collection techniques are direct interviews and literature studies. Research variables include revenue, tradable inputs, non-tradable inputs, production, private prices, and social prices. Analysis of the data used is the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). The results showed that coconut farming in Konawe Utara Regency had competitiveness both competitively and comparatively. This can be seen from the value of the ratio of private costs (Private Cost Ratio) and the value of the ratio of domestic resource costs (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) in coconut farming in North Konawe District is smaller than one.
